Winslow LeechParticipantSong with rock or rocker in the title – Rock Around the Clock by the Sex Pistols from the film soundtrack LP The Great Rock and Roll Swindle, Eddie Tenpole Tudor on vocals… Sure the Sex Pistols were technically broken up, or at least in total shambles, by the time The Great rock and roll Swindle was being put together… Johnny had left & there was a brief thought of replacing him and going on, but it was a bit like flogging a dead horse by then… Eddie was considered as a possible replacement and did three songs on the soundtrack. But ultimately the band continue to crumble, Sid died. Eddie went on to create the band Tenpole Tudor and recorded great music on his own… This is a great track nonetheless, and Eddie certainly injected some energy and fun into a dying band (and an old song)… Enjoy!
