Winslow LeechParticipantA song by an artist who has been in multiple bands – Marc Bell began his drumming career with the excellent heavy metal band Dust, two lps later they broke up. He was next in the seminal punk band Richard Hell & the Voidoids. After Tommy Ramone’s departure from The Ramones, Marc changed his name to Marky Ramone and took over drumming for the Ramones. He did have a brief break from The Ramones, and was replaced by Richie Ramone, but eventually returned. After the Ramones, he has drummed for Osaka Popstar, The Misfits, Speed Kings, The Intruders, Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg… he also wrote an excellent autobiography… Here he is with the Ramones…
