    A song being played live outdoors – Don’t Let Me Down by the Beatles… January 30th 1969 on the rooftop of the Apple building in London… This would be the Beatles’ last live public performance, the police eventually came and made them turn it down…

    A song that has an animal in the title- Crocodile Rock by the Joneses (Elton John cover)… Elton John said in a recent interview that Crocodile Rock was among his least favorite of his songs to perform… Sorry Elton, this version is better anyway…

    A summer song that was released in the 70s – Rock Lobster by the B-52’s always reminds me of Summer and the beach… The original independently released single came out in ’78, it was re-recorded for their major label debut in ’79, both versions are pretty similar…
    I have fond memories of seeing the B-52’s (with the Talking Heads) at the dr. Pepper music festival at the Wollman rink in Central Park in August of ’79…
