Rockers For Life: A Playlist for the Future

If you have ever noted that there is a different Challenge every day on this site, you might wonder what for. I started the Rockers For Life Group/game on Facebook primarily to initiate conversations about music. It’s just what I’m most comfortable doing.
Having music conversations goes way back into my family history. My dad was a bebop jazz freak and he is the primary reason why I am as passionate about music as I am. He took me to gigs when I was little, and going to live shows became a way of life for me early on. It was logical to start that group, and this website, along with my radio shows and podcasts all spin from those early experiences.
In the whole mixed up world of my music endeavors, at the heart of it is Rockers For Life. Fast forward to the reason for today’s post, enough backstory. There is a Rockers For Life YouTube account where once a month, I post a playlist from one of the previous months challenges. I look at all the answers on and compile the playlist. For December, I chose one of the later challenges: A Song About The Future (30th). So here is a pretty cool playlist of 75 individual choices of what a song about the future is to them.
